The St. Louis Rams are one of the teams that will hold two first-round picks heading in to this week’s draft and they are in desperate need of an offensive weapon for quarterback Sam Bradford. Luckily for the Rams, there are plenty of playmakers available and the team has two specifically in mind.

According to a report from Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, the Rams will strongly consider wide receivers Tavon Austin and DeAndre Hopkins with their first pick.

Austin will likely be off the board by the time the Rams are on the clock, but Hopkins should certainly be there.

While there are some concerns about whether or not Hopkins was responsible for a trashed hotel room at the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine, there are very few questions about his skill on the field.

Hopkins has drawn favorable comparisons to current San Francisco 49ers wideout Anquan Boldin and he is considered by many to be the most polished receiver of the bunch.

It will be interesting to see which receiver the Rams have a crack at and what direction they will ultimately go.

The 2013 NFL Draft begins Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall.
