Denver Broncos linebacker is one heck of a player and it was just two years ago that he was entering the NFL. While Miller is comfortably sitting among the elite at his position, his former college teammate Luke Joeckel could soon be entering the league as the top pick in the draft.

Miller is surely excited to see his former teammate coming in with such praise, but Miller isn’t very worried about facing Joeckel twice a year. In fact, he sounds pretty excited.

Per Trey Wingo of ESPN:

We are sure that Miller’s comment was followed by laughter, but it could be how he really feels.

Miller spent time with Joeckel at Texas A&M, so if he is this comfortable with facing Joeckel perhaps the Chiefs should second guess their decision. All signs point to Joeckel being the first pick in the draft, but there is no guarantee.

With just a few days to go until the start of the draft, there is still a possibility that Central Michigan’s Eric Fisher could become the top pick.
