The very first pick of the 2013 NFL Draft is just over 24 hours away and there is still a lot of speculation over the direction the Kansas City Chiefs will go with the pick. Earlier today, we learned that the Chiefs could be looking to select Central Michigan’s Eric Fisher if they are unable to trade left tackle Branden Albert by the start of the draft.

Now, Jay Glazer of FOX Sports is echoing that belief and sharing his that that the Chiefs will select Fisher with the top pick

Glazer wrote:

Glazer is one of the most knowledgeable guys in the NFL, so when he says something you have to give it a lot of attention. Glazer wouldn’t make a statement like that if he wasn’t hearing some reliable sources making those rumblings.

If Fisher is the Chiefs No. 1 pick, it is hard to argue it.

Fisher and Texas A&M’s Luke Joeckel grade out so closely that you almost have to go for the player who is a better natural athlete and has more upside. That is clearly Fisher.

All of the speculation will end on Thursday night when the Chiefs are on the clock to kick off the 2013 NFL Draft.
