NFL Draft 2013: Jacksonville Jaguars Select Luke Joeckel

The Jacksonville Jaguars wasted no time getting their selection in after the Kansas City Chiefs selected Eric Fisher with the first pick of the draft. The Jaguars decided to start that offensive tackle run just as early as everyone had imagined by taking Texas A&M standout Luke Joeckel.

This is the first time since 1968 that offensive tackles have gone back-to-back to start the NFL Draft.

Starting last week, there were rumors that the Jaguars would be looking to take an offensive tackle. It appeared to initially be a smokescreen, but apparently it was not.

Joeckel will try to be the Jaguars best offensive tackle since Tony Boselli. Oddly enough, he looks a lot like the former Jaguars star.
