Typically, the New York Islanders aren’t anywhere near the playoffs but some bad seasons have lead to rebuilding and the other New York team (soon to be Brooklyn) finds themselves in the NHL Playoffs. However, the trip may be short lived, as the Isles are running into a buzz saw that is the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The biggest story here is that the Pens are without Sidney Crosby who will likely remain out for the duration of the series with yet another head injury. But while that gives the Isles an opportunity, it doesn’ give them the advantage as Pittsburgh has played this season without Crosby and they still managed to not fall apart while he was out. The question is, how deep into the series can the Isles go, or will this one be over quick even with out Sid the Kid on the ice?

What time do the Pens and Isles drop the puck? We’ve got all of the information you will need to know to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action.
