Fashion has become a large part of the discussion during major sporting events and Detroit Lions first-round draft pick Ezekiel Ansah stole the show on draft day when he sported some 3D glasses for a little extra flair. Ansah apparently received the glasses when he went to the theaters to see “Thor” and he hung on to them in a move that has now paid off.

According to Brian Manzullo of theDetroit Free Press, Ansah has been offered free admission to IMAX movies for a year.

IMAX reached out to Ansah in a letter to offer him the free year of movies:

"“We, at IMAX, couldn’t help but notice your keen sense of style at the NFL draft this year. You made quite a fashion statement with your pair of 3D glasses. As a member of the Detroit Lions, you share our love for the color blue and we would like to add an IMAX silver lining for you – we would love to celebrate your first year in the NFL with the opportunity to see all IMAX 3D movies on us for the next year.”"

It was a nice gesture, but with Ansah being a top five NFL Draft selection he certainly doesn’t need the free tickets, but maybe he can hook up some fans with a free viewing.

In other news: Hipsters everywhere are wondering why they never received free movies for a year for wearing their lensless frames.
