Obviously there are some notable names that will be in attendance. National Player of the Year Trey Burke will work out, along with the likes of Ben McLemore, Otto Porter, Victor Oladipo, and Cody Zeller.

Nerlens Noel will attend the combine but will still be in the process of rehabbing his torn ACL that he suffered this past season.

Some notable names were left off of the list. Michael Snaer of Florida State, D.J. Stephens of Memphis, and Vander Blue of Marquette were all on the outside looking in when the list was released.

Regardless of what players were there, all the big-name executives and coaches will be in attendance. The opportunity of an up-close look at some of the draft’s top prospects is too good to pass up on.

Participating in the combine is always a high-reward, high-risk decision. Clearly, the opportunity to shine and improve your draft stock is there. However, these players run the risk of performing poorly and hurting their draft stock. Undoubtedly, some of these guys will go undrafted due to their combine performances. That’s a good enough reason to keep an eye on the combine come May 16.
