The wait is finally over as Andrew Wiggins, the nation’s top ranked recruit, will make his decision to which college he’ll attend next year, Tuesday afternoon.

Huntington Prep head coach, Rob Fulford, announce via Twitter that Wiggins will formally announce his decision Tuesday afternoon at 12:15 p.m. Wiggins will not hold a press conference ceremony. He will instead hold a small sized ceremony which will include one reporter, his parents, coaches and former Huntington Prep teammates.

The four schools Wiggins will decided from will be between North Carolina, Florida State, Kentucky and Kansas. Some suggest Wiggins, the projected No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, will attend Florida State because his parents both attended there, however Wiggins, the Thornhill, Ontario native, has kept a low profile throughout his high school career.

In addition to Florida State, Wiggins’ parents attended Hunington Prep as well. His former Huntington Prep teammate Xavier-Rathan-Mayes, a Scarborough, Ontario native, will also join the Seminoles in the fall. This year, the Seminoles missed the NCAA tournament just one year after winning the ACC division title. With a need to replace leading scorer, Michael Snaer, the Seminoles have actively pursued Wiggins.

The Jayhawks, who will lose four seniors, Jeff Whitney, Elijiah Johnson, Travis Releford and Kevin Young, alongside Ben McLemore, a projected lottery pick in this year’s NBA draft, will need to rebuild next year. If Wiggins commits, it’ll certainly help the process.

Head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats, John Calipari, who is notorious in preparing superstar talents like Wiggins into the NBA, has already recruited possibly one of the best classes of all time. Some notable names include Julius Randle, Aaron and Andrew Harrison, Dakari Johnson, James Youngs and Marcus Lee. All those stars were McDonald’s All-American and Wildcats in the fall.

As for North Carolina, they will have the additions of P.J. Hairstons and James McAdoo returning to Chapel Hill. Starting point guard, Marcus Paige and Roy Williams will also return along with Isaiah Hicks and Kennedy Meeks.

The schools with the slightest chance of landing Wiggins are North Carolina and Kansas but don’t count them out. Both schools have a tradition, immense fanbase and spectacular head coach.

Wiggins, a 6’7″, a 200 pound small forward, is also considered to be the best high school prospect since Lebron James. He is extremely versatile and has superior, mesmerizing athletic ability.
