Charles Woodson made the decision to return to the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday and there was immediately one question — will Woodson wear No. 24? Before becoming No. 21 in Green Bay, Woodson made his name in the league as a star rocking No. 24 in the Bay Area. There is one problem, however. Tracy Porter, who signed with the Raiders in free agency, currently wears No. 24.

That is all expected to change.

According to Paul Gutierrez of CSNBayArea.com, Woodson will get the number back. There is no word on whether Woodson will have to pay a pretty penny for the jersey number, but there is some belief that Tracy Porter will just give the number up to the future Hall of Famer.

No matter the number, Oakland fans will be happy to see Woodson return to the gridiron sporting the black and silver.

Woodson joined the NFL when he was drafted with the No. 4 overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft after winning the Heisman Trophy. Now, Woodson will have the rare opportunity to  finish his professional career where it started.
