There have been some reports that Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski is considering a return to the bench to lead the United States basketball team on a run in the 2016 Olympics. If the Blue Devils leading man is ready or considering a return, Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love is a fan of the idea.

When Love was asked if he would like Coach K to return to the sidelines for Team USA, his answer was simple.

“Of course,” Love said.

Because of his desire to have Coach K leading Team USA, Love is ready to step up and do anything under his power to get the Duke head coach back directing the Olympic squad.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time playing under Coach K in the World Championships and the Olympics and developing a relationship with him,” Love said. “It’s been really great. So, I’m really hoping he does come back.

“If he’s there and needs support, I’ll be there to help him any way I can.”

Coach K has until July to decide if he wants to return as USA basketball coach. If he does, at least one of his potential big men will be happy.
