Former Tennessee Titans tight end Jared Cook joined the St. Louis Rams earlier this offseason as a free agent and he has wasted no time getting to know his new quarterback Sam Bradford. According to the St Louis Post-Dispatch, Cook and Bradford have been “clicking” early in OTAs. It’s good news for the Rams that Cook is getting to know his quarterback early, so that they know they can maximize their five-year, $35.11 million free agent investment.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch goes on to say that we can expect a big role for Cook in Jeff Fisher’s offense.

Fisher was familiar with Cook from their time together in Tennessee and that was enough to bring Cook to St. Louis and get him away from a team that wasn’t using Cook in the way they should or getting him in the gameplan in any way, shape or form.

In St. Louis, Cook will have every opportunity to have the breakout season that many thought he was set up for last year. He will certainly have every opportunity.
