The San Antonio Spurs are now one win away from advancing to the NBA Finals. They now lead the series 3-0 after their 104-93 overtime win over the Memphis Grizzlies Saturday night.

The Spurs took care of business in overtime for the second straight game and showed why experience matters in the NBA Playoffs.

Early in Game Three, Memphis seized control and led by eighteen points. The Spurs could not find any offensive rhythm, mainly due to careless turnovers. Once they settled down, the Spurs started to chip away at the lead.

The Spurs took their first lead of the game after Danny Green hit a three pointer at the beginning of the fourth quarter. During the final period, there were eleven lead changes and Memphis had an opportunity to win the game.

Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, Mike Conley missed a potential game-winning shot. They couldn’t recover after that. The Spurs dominated overtime and outscored Memphis 18-7. Tim Duncan had a huge game and would not be denied. He finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.

No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA Playoffs.

Game Four will be played in Memphis on Monday, May 27th at 9 pm ET on ESPN.
