The Green Bay Packers are shuffling up their offensive line for the 2013 season by switching Bryan Bulaga from right tackle to left tackle and and offensive guard Josh Sitton from the right to left side, as well. Bulaga played left tackle during his time at Iowa, so he is familiar with the position and he is already voicing his excitement about the challenges he will face moving back to the left side.

Bulaga was brought in to replace to Mark Tauscher at right tackle during his rookie season, but now the opportunity for him to return to his natural position is finally here.

“They approached me, told me and that was that,” Bulaga said, via Mike Vandermause of the Green Bay Post-Gazette. “When they told me I was going to switch, (that) I was going to play left tackle, just do whatever I’m told that’s going to help the team. That’s kind of the way I operate.”

Bulaga certainly has the talent to make a successful transition back to the left side and the Packers should be excited.

For Green Bay, they will get a young and talented tackle to protect their franchise signal-caller and for Bulaga it means a bigger pay day down the road once his contract is up after the 2014 season.
