NFL players enter every season with the hopes of accomplishing their ultimate goal and hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the year. Plenty of players never get to accomplish this, but for the ones that do it a moment that can truly define their career. Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith is one of many Ravens players that will receive their Super Bowl rings tonight for their win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII at the Superdome.

When Smith was speaking about the upcoming ceremony and receiving his ring, he wasn’t shy about sharing just how excited he was.

To sum up his excitement, Smith delivered a beautiful line to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun:

The Ravens have an uphill battle this year if they hope to return to the Super Bowl, but at least they will always remember the moment they all got to share last season.

At the very least, they will have the ring to hold on to and that is something Smith will clearly treasure.
