It’s been a while since tight end Kellen Winslow has been any good in the NFL but he’s hoping to change that next week. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New York Jets are bringing in the former Cleveland Browns first-round pick for a try out next week to see if he can cut it on their roster and help their poor offense improve from last season.

Winslow has been a non-factor since he was traded back before the start of last season by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was mildly successful during his stint with the Bucs but it was more of the same disappointment he saw in Cleveland as he never quite became the star he could have been. Winslow is still more remembered for his motorcycle accident that has defined his career as Winslow has always been a talent guy who never got smart enough to put it all together.
The Jets are hoping he can put it together and it’s looking like the once promising career of Kellen Winslow is down to it’s final leg.
So let’s be sure to keep him away from motorcycles.
