Now, from the WTF department. Enter Tim Tebow. Ed Werder of ESPN is reporting that the New England Patriots have signed Tim Tebow and expect him to report to mini-camp.

To say the very least, this is quite an interesting move by the Patriots. A team that hasn’t never wanted to surround themselves with controversy has done just that with this signing.

This comes after Tim Tebow was recently released by the New York Jets. Most thought the Florida QB would never play QB in the NFL again and now he seemingly has ;new life’. Time for the debate to begin.

Is Tom Brady getting old?

Is Tim Tebow expected to be the ‘future’ of the New England Patriots?

Well, who really knows. Only time will tell. But one thing is certainly, with Tebow you can never count on anything. What a surprise. Keep in mind, however, Tim Tebow will still have to actually ‘make the final roster’. But with the intense media scrutiny that will be surrounding this, I suspect that will be a forgone conclusion

Out of all the NFL teams that could have signed Tebow, I probably would have placed the New England Patriots at 1,000-1 odds. But now it’s done. Let the QB debate begin…right?
