Gonzalo Higuain has been linked with Arsenal in the last week or so, but it seems as though Juventus is also joining the race to land the Argentinian forward.

While other top English clubs have their full focus on Napoli’s Edinson Cavani, Arsenal has keyed in on Higuain, who wants to leave Real Madrid and has said that he wouldn’t mind trying himself in England’s Premier League with Arsenal. However, according to Football365, the Italian club Juventus could be joining the race for Higuain’s signature.

"But Juventus were told that the Argentine will be going nowhere until Real Madrid have a new manager. Juve general manger Beppe Marotta said: “Real Madrid can’t sell Higuain while there is no manager. When the new manager is announced, we’ll meet them again.”"

Jose Mourinho has left Madrid and the team will obviously be looking for a new manager. As Marotta says, no deal can really be made until a new manager is appointed, as he might have other plans for the Argentinian forward.
