When the NBA Finals began, there was some questions about the the Miami Heat and their ability to take on the San Antonio Spurs. The Heat had been taking to the wire against the Indiana Pacers while the Spurs blew through the Memphis Grizzlies. The first game of the NBA Finals suggested we were in for some trouble when it came to the Heat’s chances but those fears were crushed in Game 2 when the Heat brought the pain against the Spurs.
Now that we’re even in the series, the momentum seems to be placed firmly in them middle of both teams as each have traded harsh blows. We could have the series decided in the third game but the Heat are no strangers to a back-and-forth series like they saw against the Pacers. We could be in store for another series like that, but the question is can the Heat survive such a test twice in a row?
