The Washington Redskins are not shy when it comes to adding to their receiving corp, as they now have 12 receivers heading into camp with the signing of Devery Henderson.

The Redskins will be the 10-year veterans first home outside of New Orleans in his career and is fresh off his worst statistical season with only 22 receptions for 316 yards. Although it’s safe to say some of that can be attributed to the absence of Sean Payton.

Regardless, even at 31-years of age, Henderson still possesses some of that breakaway speed that gives him the distinction of the NFL’s highest yards per reception leader among active players.

He’s also a solid insurance policy, as he’s only missed more than 15 games once in his career.

His 2013 campaign was highlighted by two huge games. One coming at the expense of the San Diego Chargers, who he burned for 123 yards on eight receptions. The other coming at Tampa Bay, where he finished with 75 yards on only three receptions.

He could potentially prove to be another deep target for RGIII and another game-breaker on one of the league’s fastest offenses.
