The Houston Rockets continue to cut salary, as the team will push to land Dwight Howard in free agency. The team has now notified Carlos Delfino, Francisco Garcia and Aaron Brooks that the three players will not be with the team next season, according to Ultimate Rockets:

"The Rockets have told agents for Francisco Garcia, Carlos Delfino and Aaron Brooks that they will not pickup contract options this month. That exception and veteran’s minimums could be used to shift to a much more experienced roster if the Rockets land a top free agent, a plan they apparently will make a significant part of their presentation."

This comes as no surprise, as the three players had team options in their contracts, which would have cost Houston $11.9 million in total next season.

Delfino played just one year with the Rockets and while he had a decent year coming off the bench, he broke his foot towards the end of the season. Garcia was traded to Houston from the Sacramento Kings last season. Brooks also played for the Kings last year, but was eventually waived and signed with Houston.
