NBA Trade Rumors — If you were hoping for the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Clippers to hook up on the blockbuster deal that has been in talks, you might be disappointed. While the discussions are not officially dead, the two teams are either posturing or simply too far apart on what they believe is a fair trade.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo, the talks have stalled, as the Clippers are willing to offer DeAndre Jordan and a first-round pick for Kevin Garnett. However, Garnett is said to waive his no-trade clause only of Doc Rivers is part of the deal. That, in turn, seems unlikely, as the Clippers will reportedly hire either Lionel Hollins or Brian Shaw.

It’s really hard to make sense of everything, but the major hurdle remains unchanged — the Celtics don’t want to do a deal that doesn’t involve Eric Bledsoe, while Clippers want to hold on to the young point guard and probably move him elsewhere in another package. The Celtics also want another first-round pick, but if L.A. decided to include Bledsoe, that would probably be enough to satisfy Boston.

Wojnarowski also says that, according to his sources, it’s not looking good in terms of the two teams coming to an agreement right now, but the deal is not officially dead just yet. Still, it seems as though Bledsoe is the deal-breaker, and if either side doesn’t give in, the deal will definitely fall apart.
