New England Patriots Chime in on Robert Kraft, Vladimir Putin Ring Drama
By Josh Sanchez
Since it is the offeseason, a number of off the wall stories stick and gain some steam in the news cycle, and this week was no different. After New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft accused Russian president Vladimir Putin of stealing his Super Bowl ring, Putin immediately had a spokesperson deny any wrongdoing.
Now, the one organization in this entire situation that has decided to remain silent chose to speak out on the issue and let us all know that it is probably too early to start planning for World War III.
According to a statement from the Patriots, Kraft enjoys retelling the story as a light-hearted joke, so it is highly unlikely that he actually believes malicious intent was involved.
Kraft still holds two other Super Bowl rings, so losing one won’t matter too much. Putin can hang on to that nice gift before locking it away with all of the other gifts that he is given for the one special day of the year.
We all know there will be hits and misses, so lets all just stick to it!
