After a playful slap on the ass landed former Cincinnati Bengals/New England Patriots/Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Johnson a 30-day jail sentence, Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh has had a change of heart. According to reports, Johnson has been reduced from jail after his sentence was reduced to seven days.

Johnson still needs to undergo anger management therapy for two hours a week and has to perform 25 hours of community service, but his probation violation hearing has been rescheduled for October 16th.

What Johnson will really need to worry about now is the fact that he is rapidly losing money that he earned during his playing career.

TMZ.com reported that Johnson is losing $45,000 a month, which is obviously not what you want to be doing when you are currently unemployed.

While Johnson may be dealing with his current legal issues, he could find himself in even more hot water as the debt starts to pile up and he finds himself with no way to get the money he needs.

Let’s hope that the early release can start a positive turnaround for Johnson’s life.
