With the news about Dwight Howard possibly leaving the Lakers in free agency, there is one player who doesn’t think he’s going anywhere. Metta World Peace  had some interesting words to say on the topic of Dwight Howard’s upcoming decision on an interview with Sportsradio 610 in Houston.

"You know how those horses have those little things, ties in a bullfight, you tie those things to their b—- and they go crazy? I’ve got two of those tied to Dwight Howard’s t——–, so he can’t move."

I knew Metta World Peace was a little crazy, but not this crazy. I don’t really think that Metta has any sort of pull on D12, and his decision to stay or go will not be based on Mr. World Peace. But in all seriousness, Metta World Peace acknowledged that the decision isn’t up to him at all. He later said,

"I’ll leave the convincing to the organization and to the fans. But for myself, I’m just working out and things like that, but I definitely enjoy him. He’s a great person. Whoever receives Dwight Howard, they’ll really enjoy their time with him. Hopefully, it’s with the Lakers, but whoever receives him will really enjoy their time."

Only time will tell where Howard ends up. He’s been talking with Chris Paul recently, and there are a few teams other than the Rockets that seem to be front runners to get the center including Atlanta, Detroit, and Dallas.
