NBA Trade Rumors — The Los Angeles Clippers will be trying to finalize a deal with the Boston Celtics on Thursday. Does that mean that Eric Bledsoe will eventually be shipped out of town as well?

The Clippers have held onto Bledsoe for a while now, and have continued to refuse to let him go. The young point guard has become one of the most precious commodities in the league in terms of trade bait, and considering the latest developments, Bledsoe could very well be traded this summer.

If the Clippers finalize the deal with Boston, Chris Paul would re-sign with the team and Bledsoe would no longer need to be regarded as the insurance for Paul’s potential departure. Instead, Bledsoe could be packaged in a bunch of different deals, and there would likely be a lot of takers.

Several teams have been interested in trying to pull off a deal for Bledsoe, and the Clippers have already considered several trade partners. The Orlando Magic have Arron Afflalo who the Clippers are reportedly high on, as he would fill the vacancy at the two-guard spot and fit in well with the team. While the Indiana Pacers are considering keeping Danny Granger this summer, there is still the possibility of a Bledsoe package, most likely including Caron Butler, being offered to the Pacers for Granger’s services.

Assuming Paul does re-sign, the Clippers will entertain pretty much every offer for Bledsoe and try to find the best deal out there.
