San Antonio Spurs Danny Green Says Partying With LeBron James, Miami Heat Was Misunderstanding

After Danny Green was spotted with LeBron James and members of the Miami Heat just hours after Green’s Spurs lost to the aforementioned Heat, minds began to wonder. Why was Danny Green with LeBron James? Were they hanging out? Of course not – at least, so says Green who wants you to know that he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Per Green’s Twitter:
"Got give credit to Miami…but don’t think for one sec I was out celebrating with them…jus happened to be at the same place, wrong time"
Now see, I could get behind that if everybody and their mother wasn’t aware that the Heat’s after party would be held at Club Story. Not only is it a place that Heat members often frequent, it’s also the same place that held the after party when the Heat won their title in 2012. In short, it’s the place to be if you’re a Miami Heat fan or player, something I’m pretty sure Green is aware of.
Why he was even out clubbing after the devastating loss is a bit odd, but at the pro-Heat club? Just wrong place, wrong time? Sounds like Green’s excuses are as impressive as his shooting percentage in Game 7.
