Bad week to be a New England Patriots fan eh?

What started off with Aaron Hernandez‘s potential arrest ends with Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith crapping all over the Patriot fanbase on Twitter.

The conversation with Smith started innocently enough as a ‘fan’ asked Smith who he wanted to win the NHL’s Stanley Cup, the Chicago Blackhawks or the Boston Bruins. His answer?

"RT @MBalsley If you had to pick a hockey team, who you cheering for tonight Boston or Chicago?…CHI I hate everything about NE except KG"

Well, that wasn’t that bad I guess. Thankfully the conversation stopped. Oh wait, it didn’t? Oh.

"I understand that every Fan base has bad fans what I’m saying is NE fans have more than others and think they are better than everyone else"

/shots fired

"As much as I dislike MOST of the fan base I can honestly say that I respect the coaches and ownership"

Well, at least he’s trying to mend some of the wounds…

"Got called the N word so many times last night like there are no black folks that represent NE…typical"

Or not.

"Ok I’m done starting stuff before I get a phone call from our organization haha…no apologies I meant what I said ✌"

Ravens PR staffers, saving mouthy wide receivers one phone call at a time.
