New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been able to avoid handcuffs despite some damning evidence and a warrant (that has yet to be officially processed) for his arrest, but that hasn’t stopped law enforcement officials from keeping the pressure on.

In the latest turn in the investigation of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, police are gearing up for a swim as they prepare to search a body of water close to the home of Hernandez.

Kathryn Sotnick of NECN Boston passed the news along on Twitter:

Hernandez should be feeling the pressure from the police with their constant searching at and around his home, but he has yet to cooperate. When you are spotted with a murder victim hours before his death, there is a good chance that you know something about the events leading up to the murder, so Hernandez is not going to be in the clear anytime soon.

Eventually, he will have to come forward and tell police what he knows or he will not be able to avoid the inevitable footage of him being escorted out of him home in cuffs.
