From Doc Rivers to….former Boston Celtics player Antoine Walker? That’s what Mr. Shimmy himself wants as Walker took to Twitter recently to express his desire to become head coach of the Celtics.

"Boston fans I think it’s time for me to the celtics coach !!!!!Boston fans its time for me to be the Boston coach !!!!Boston fans its time for me to be the celtics coach !!!!"

No, that’s not a typo on my part – he actually posted that three times consecutively.

And honestly, it only makes sense that Walker posted it three times considering his love of everything related to the three. Walker, who took over 14,700 shots in his NBA career took nearly one-third from behind the arc, 4,264 to be exact. The same man who defended his love of the three point shot by saying “there are no four’s” has dealt with difficulty since his playing days ended after the 2007-08 season. Riddled with a gambling addiction, Walker became broke, dealing with creditors pounding on his door as he blew through the $108 million dollars of career earnings.

He says his life is back on track though – thankfully.
