It was something that we all knew was coming. We just had to wait to find out exactly when it would take place. That time is now. New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been arrested and taken in to police custody in connection to the murder of 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.

State police officers entered Hernandez’s home in North Attleboro, Mass. on Wednesday morning with papers, after cutting off traffic at the end of his driveway.

As the details continued to emerge regarding the case, it was looking worse and worse for Hernandez. Even if he was not the man who pulled the trigger, all evidence pointed towards him knowing who was involved.

Of course, let’s all remember to reserve judgement and let the legal system do their job. Hernandez remains innocent until proven guilty.

The legal issues are just beginning for Hernandez, who also faces a lawsuit that claims he shot a man in the face during an argument at a night club in Florida.
