The Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets are involved in talks for a potential blockbuster deal that would send veteran stars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce from Boston to Brooklyn in exchange for a package that could include Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Tomike Shenglia and three first-round picks.

Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski has been on top of the latest developments and he has just passed along the news that the two sides talks are serious and the deal could get even bigger.

He writes:

By bigger, Wojnarowski does not mean that more teams would get involved in the deal. He simply means that more players could be swapping teams. In a follow up, Wojnarowski stated that the Celtics are discussing including Jason Terry or Courtney Lee in the deal.

This is definitely a blockbuster trade in the making and it will be interesting to see if this can go through.

In order for the trade to be completed, Garnett would have to wave his no-trade clause. If he decides that is the best move, we could see a power shift in the Eastern Conference.
