The Los Angeles Clippers fell short yet again in the Western Conference playoffs and it ended up costing Vinny Del Negro his job. But while there was some early fears about Chris Paul leaving and Blake Griffin being traded, the Clippers found their head coach in Doc Rivers and now are ready to move into the future.

Los Angeles is in a weird spot where they’re ready to win now yet they still need pieces to be a real contender in the West. It’s doubtful that they can find that help in the draft but it’s worth a shot anyways.

So with the 25th overall pick in the NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Clippers selected Reggie Bullock form North Carolina.

With Chris Paul as the clear leader on this team and Blake Griffin running as the Robin to his Batman, the Clippers hardly needed a home run with this pick. It’s a late first-round pick so expectations couldn’t have ben terribly high to begin with and most fans are still hot on the news that Doc Rivers is the new head coach.

But Reggie Bullock  is a guy that can come in and learn under a great system and all the pieces are in place for him to be something very valuable to the Clippers down the road. This is the part of the draft where role players become hot picks and that’s exactly what Reggie Bullock  appears to be.
