The Philadelphia Eagles have a tough decision to make at the quarterback position heading into the 2013 NFL season thanks to the presence of veteran Michael Vick, second-year player Nick Foles and rookie Matt Barkley.

According to one NFL insider, the man with the inside edge to thrive in new head coach Chip Kelly’s offense is Vick. How predictable.

That insider happens to be ESPN’s Ron Jaworski, who recently said Vick is best fit, per Rotoworld:

"Jaws called Vick “the most talented quarterback on the Eagles’ roster” and hinted he expects Vick to beat out Nick Foles. “Here’s the positive as the Eagles transition to Kelly’s shotgun-spread attack:” Jaworski stated. “Vick was outstanding in the two-minute offense last season with a QB rating of 98. I am going to be fascinated to see Vick in Chip Kelly’s up-tempo speed offense.” Vick will be an intriguing, boom-or-bust QB2 pick in fantasy leagues."

Boom or bust has been the definition of Vick’s career to this point. That said, his skill set does fit the offense Kelly prefers to run perfectly. The only question now is whether or not Kelly’s offense will actually work in the NFL.

It sounds like that will be up to Vick to decide.
