Colin Kaepernick burst onto the NFL scene in 2012. He filled in for an injured Alex Smith and took the San Francisco 49ers all the way to the Super Bowl. The 49ers changed their offense to adapt to Kaepernick’s style of play on the fly as well.

Frank Gore went on ESPN cause they needed a break from Aaron Hernandez, Tim Tebow and Dwight Howard coverage.

“He could get a lot better,” Gore said, via Pro Football Talk. “One thing I love about that young guy, he works. He works very hard. Even before he got the starting job he used to be the first one there and one of the last guys out. As long as he keeps learning, working from the coaches and just being him, he’ll be fine.”

Other NFL teams, and the NFC West have been given fair warning. If Kaepernick can get better who knows how great he could be in 2013 as the 49ers try to make it back to the Super Bowl and win an NFL Championship.
