There have been a variety of NBA trade rumors floating around the Houston Rockets since free agency kicked off, mostly involving a guy by the name of Dwight Howard.

However, Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik have popped up as trade candidates as well. Perhaps as names the Rockets would like to unload.

Rockets GM Daryl Morey is having none of that, per a quote obtained from  Jonathan Feigen of The Houston Chronicle:

"“[Dwight Howard] wants the best team possible and is interested in how we plan to do that,” said Morey, after meeting with the prized free agent. “Omer with Dwight would give us the best [centers] in the league in combination. Jeremy is an attacking guard, great in pick-and-roll, a great fit for Dwight.”"

Everyone on the Rockets is available for trade if we had to guess. The team is already looking at Josh Smith as well and there is only so much cap space to go around at this point.

While the combo of Lin and Howard would be formidable, everything would have to fall in place perfectly. Maybe Morey has a perfect plan, but it’s going to take a lot.
