Patriots RB Brandon Bolden’s Ankle Should Be Just Fine
By Corey Leahy
In the past month, New England Patriots fans have been panicking over their beloved team, with complications with Rob Gronkowski’s injuries, and Aaron Hernandez’s recent release. But fear not New England, not all news is bad! Well, it’s possible that Brandon Bolden’s ankle could get added to the list of disappointments, but it seems that he should be just fine for the upcoming season.
He apparently injured his ankle while working out last season, and has been unable to participate in offseason workouts and drills. But he s looking optimistic and believes that his ankle has healed enough to play, according to a source. He will be meeting with team trainers on Monday, 7/15 to take a better look. While Bolden isn’t the starter for the Pats, it’s important to get his health up because New England lost their primary backup Danny Woodhead in free agency.
July 25 is the start of the team’s training camp, and Bolden is anxious to be cleared to participate.
