Two San Francisco 49ers will be amongst those posing nude in ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue: quarterback Colin Kaepernick and tight end Vernon Davis.

49ers safety Donte Whitner isn’t one of the athletes posing and he doesn’t think he could take part.

“I would never do that,” Whitner told the Bull and Fox radio show, via CBSSports.com. “To each his own. I don’t know about all the naked pictures and the lower body. I’m a little bit against that, but to each his own.”

And while Whitner wouldn’t pose, he’ll tease his teammates about it.

“He’s the man right now, and that’s what he chose to do,” Whitner said of Kaepernick. “But he’s going to receive some flak in the locker room.”

Why are they just teasing Kaepernick and not Vernon Davis?

Nevertheless, Whitner was also asked about the Colin Kaepernick hat debacle.

“I agree with both sides on it,” Whitner said. “I agree with his point of view that ‘I go out here and I bust my butt each and every day and give everything to my football team, I should be able to wear whatever I want.'”
