It’s pretty common knowledge that Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera has a great sense of humor, so it shouldn’t come as any shock that the Triple Crown winner decided to have a little fun at the expense of a rival.

During last night’s player introductions for the 2013 MLB All-Star Game, Cabrera ran out to his teammate intro line and began to give high fives to his squad. Everything seemed relatively normal until Cabrera reached Boston Red Sox second baseman, Dustin Pedroia.

The pint sized Pedroia (all 5’8 of him) reached up to give the Tigers third baseman a high five but last seasons American League MVP had a different idea, squatting low, pulling a dip job on a shocked Pedroia. The moment, obviously a shot at Pedroia’s size (or lack of) had Boston Red Sox teammate Clay Buchholz cracking up in the background, which was captured from the good folks at SBNation.

It was a blink and miss moment, but one of the highlights of the night.
