It appeared as if this trend of people box jumping was dying down. But J.J. Watt is breathing new life into it.

YouTube user “Evan Conley” uploaded a video yesterday that shows J.J. Watt box jumping up 59.5 inches rather effortlessly. Apparently in a “pre-ESPYs” workout.

A 6’5”, 290-pound defensive end being able to jump nearly 5 feet in the air is scary. That’s the roof of you car most likely (assuming you have a car and not an SUV). Blake Griffin eat your heart out, J.J. Watt could clear a car.

No wonder he can get up in the air and disrupt those passing lanes and generally make life miserable for opposing quarterbacks. You know, aside from the crushing sacks.

So, who is YouTuber Evan Conley?

It’s safe to assume that he is this gentleman:

His AVI, from this picture he tweeted below, shows him with J.J. Watt on the red carpet.

J.J. Watt’s tweet clarifies that they’re high school friends.
