Buffalo Bills 2nd year pro wide receiver T.J. Graham is looking to improve his style of play this season.

How does he do that? During the off-season he studied routes Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace has ran in his career.

"“Just the transition and the tenacity of his routes. He runs them full speed, he’s got a lot of herky-jerky (whatever this means). He’s pressing vertical all the time. Last year, I don’t think I pressed vertical as well as I should have. I didn’t get that burst of speed coming out of breaks that I should have. This year, I feel like those are key points I need to improve on.”"

Right now Graham is competing with Robert Woods and Brad Smith for the #2 spot for receiving duties. Right now after knowing what he has studied and how confident and determined he seems, he could be the heavy favorite to win that spot.

He very well could be another spark for this Buffalo Bills offense this season. I wonder if studying those tapes on Wallace will pay off. I’m going to have to keep a close eye on this kid this season.
