The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense took a hit when wide receiver Mike Wallace went deep to South Beach this summer in free agency. The rest of the division arguably got better while the Steelers did little to improve.

Steelers icon Jerome Bettis had some harsh words for his former team.

“The question mark in the division is the Steelers,” Bettis said on the “Dave Dameshek Football Program” from the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe, Calif. “How will they perform? Will they be able to run the football? Will the defense be able to stay intact? They’ve got some questions that need to be answered, so right now if I had to step out of my body and give a prediction I’d say the edge goes to Cincinnati, then Baltimore, then Pittsburgh, then Cleveland.”

The Baltimore Ravens watched their team and iconic defense get stripped down after winning the championship, but some front office work on the fly put together a unit that has the Ravens feeling confident.

“They still have to learn how to win. They don’t know how to win yet,” Bettis told Dameshek. “And I think that’s the one Achilles heel if you had to think of anything, that’s going to be the Achilles heel, they really don’t know how to win a big game.”
