The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to be spending a lot of time playing in London over the next few seasons. Their owner, Shad Khan, just bought a London based Barclay’s Premier League team Fulham. And apparently Fulham will be leaving London to play games in Jacksonville as well.

According to ActionNewsJax.com:

"Khan thanked Fulham fans for embracing him and the Jacksonville community.Khan says his new franchise will play preseason matches at EverBank Field next year, which will help boost the River City’s recognition around the world.“If you look at the eyeballs, the typical Fulham game has, you know, 3 or 4 million people,” said Khan. “I think it really gives us a huge amount of upside to play especially starting with the friendlys and some of the preseason games.”"

The difference of course being that the Jaguars will be playing regular season games in London. Unlike in the NFL, BPL preseason warm ups usually consist of playing teams outside their league. Last year, Liverpool played a preseason game at Fenway Park in Boston. The Fenway Sports Group owns the Liverpool football club.

Liverpool lost that game to Roma and American Michael Bradley.

So far no plans have been announced for the games or who the opponent will be.
