The San Francisco 49ers have added veteran wide receiver Mario Manningham to the active/physically unable to perform list.

Manningham is recovering from a torn ACL and PCL and is not expected to return to the field until late August. Others joining Manningham on that list are wide receiver Kyle Williams (knee), running back Kendall Hunter (Achilles’) and linebacker Darius Fleming (knee) were added today.

Williams is set on working his way back from a torn ACL, while Hunter is roughly 8 months removed from tearing his Achilles tendon. Darius Fleming also tore his ACL but did so during last years rookie mini camp.

All 4 players are eligible to return to practice with their team once they are able to pass a physical. If this team hopes to compete for the division title against the Seattle Seahawks, they are gonna need all hands on deck. They already lost Michael Crabtree for a good chunk of the season, so every player counts.
