Thanks to a little offseason distraction known as Aaron Hernandez, the New England Patriots have been able to keep the Tim Tebow circus out of the headlines. However, with training camps starting back up, people are beginning to ask about Tebow’s future with the team once again.

With the uncertainty of Rob Gronkowski for the start of the season and Hernandez being behind bars, there has been speculation that Tebow could help the Patriots if he played some tight end or H-back.

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked about Tebow’s future position on Friday morning and he gave his usual cryptic message that will do nothing to hush the talks of Tebow moving positions.

“I think we’ll use Tim where ever we feel like is best for the team,” Belichick said, via Pro Football Talk. “I know that’s what he’s committed to doing as well, whatever that is. He’s got a great work ethic — great.”

If the Patriots really want to take advantage of that work ethic, they should begin his transition to a new position as soon as possible, because there is no way that he helps the team as a third-string clipboard holder.
