Before training camp players are subjected to conditioning tests to see where their fitness levels are at. Apparently Detroit Lions defensive tackle  Ndamukong Suh made a mockery of the their conditioning test.

Usually the stories coming out of camp revolving these stories is about players failing conditioning tests, so it shouldn’t be taken lightly despite the fact that most pass the test.

But your head coach coming out and saying you’re in the best shape you’ve ever been in is a big compliment. Maybe Suh and Nick Fairley will live up to Fairley’s claim that they’re the best defensive tackle duo in the NFL. Of course, Suh has never been considered the weaker of those two in the duo.

Ndamukong Suh has had pretty consistent production over his career averaging a little over 7 sacks a season and about 33 tackles. If he could improve those numbers he could certainly help the Detroit Lions turn the ship around.
