The suggestion that the Philadelphia Eagles could potentially cut either Michael Vick or Nick Foles seems a bit outlandish, but it’s something that has been reporting for weeks and they continue to do so.

Geoff Mosher of appeared on NBC’s Pro Football Talk yesterday and suggested that the loser of the starting quarterback battle could very well be on their way out:

The loser of the Mike Vick-Nick Foles quarterback competition might not simply be destined for the bench.  He might be headed on the first bus out of town.

That’s why Geoff Mosher of believes.  He shared his views during Monday’s edition of PFT Live.

We’ve long believed that if Vick doesn’t emerge as the starter, he could disappear from the roster.  But Foles could be out of a job, Mosher believes, if Vick wins the first-string position.

If one of the two is cut, rookie Matt Barkley would become the backup with Dennis Dixon playing the utility quarterback role.
