Joe Saunders is beginning to see his name heat up in the world of MLB trade rumors, but only because the Baltimore Orioles cannot make up their minds as to whether they want him or not.

The Orioles are interested in a reunion with Saunders  according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports:

"Baltimore, though, could still make a deal with Seattle, as it has interest in bringing back lefty starter Joe Saunders and to some degree left-handed reliever Oliver Perez."

Yet, Dan Connolly via Twitter says the report if false:

So which is it? Right now it’s anybody’s guess, but a reunion with Saunders at this point would be a little weird. He is a heck of a pitcher, but giving up assets to get him back would be a bit unusual as it’s not often you see a club trade for the same pitcher twice in two seasons.

We have no doubt the Orioles could use Saunders, but with how much pitching is costing on the market right now, giving up enough to get him back would not make a whole lot of sense.
