Stevie Johnson working in the slot during Buffalo Bills training camp

According to Buffalo News, wide receiver Stevie Smith has been primarily working in the slot during training camp for the Buffalo Bills.
After 3 straight 1,000 yard seasons, the speedy wide receiver is moving inside. It allows the Bills to use T.J. Graham and Robert Woods outside in a 3 wide receiver set.
Both Graham and Woods are competing for for 1 job when the Bills go down to just 2 wide. Playing in the slot should allow Johnson to get more snaps versus weaker defense backs. Kind of like Wes Welker and Reggie Wayne last season.
"“It’s easy money. I got the talent around me, you know? I’m not stupid to the fact we’ve got burners. We’ve got guys who can run and stretch the defense. I can get past a DB, but why not put me inside and let me work with the linebackers and nickel guys and let our speed guys do work on the outside? We’ve got versatility in our room where we have the ability to do that.” Johnson said in an interview with Buffalo News"
It shouldn’t really matter who gets the starting quarterback job, as long as they put their talented wide receivers to good use, the offense should be able to stay in games. As long as their defense helps out.
