Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson had his sights set on becoming a slot receiver for the Bills this season, now his plans have been slightly delayed.

We already know he’s a speedy wide receiver and doesn’t need much work, so maybe this rest will be perfect for him as he takes care of his hamstring. He had an MRI which revealed there was no tear, but strained his hamstring which was reported by NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

"“He’s going to get evaluated, and it’s always tough when those situations happens. It would be a major concern if we were talking about it during the season. Right now, a veteran player who has proved himself, we’ll just see what the doctors say, it is what it is and we’ll deal with it from there.” coach Marrone told reporters via Rochester Democrat and Chronicle from NFL.com"

I’m sure he won’t lost his job and will be able to get his position back as soon as he’s 100% healthy. But the hamstring injury he sustained today will probably cause him to miss most of the pre-season.
