The Philadelphia Eagles lost Jeremy Maclin for the season with a torn ACL and Riley Cooper is in the middle of a highly discussed racism scandal with the belief that he could soon be released. The team also waived receiver B.J. Cunningham with an injury settlement.  So with the uncertainty surrounding the wide receiver position, there was some wondering whether or not the team would add another player at the position.

However, according to Pro Football Talk sources, the team is not looking to add another receiver.

The team still has ten other wide receivers under contract —  Jason Avant, Dave Ball, Arrelious Benn, DeSean Jackson, DeMaris Johnson, Nick Miller,Ifeanyi Momah, Will Murphy, Greg Salas, and Russell Shepherd — and they are confident that those players will be able to get the job done.

Jackson is the obvious star of the group, but look for a big year from Jason Avant and potentially Arrelious Benn in the team’s new offense.

Then there is Johnson, who can be a big contributor on special teams, that may be able to step up in the passing game as well.
